them if they do not have the chip in their collection. But it improves your offering position if you ahve new, uncirculated chips to offer. New and uncirculated generally can only happen when the chips first arrive at the casino. It is simply a matter of striking while the iron is hot.

Certainly not a requirement, not a guarantee of being able to make trades, but for many collectors, if given the choice between a new, uncirculated chip and one that is used, hands down the new one wins out.
