I bought this group which was advertised as Native American "Gaming Sticks" several years ago on Ebay(but I don't have any other documentation on them). I have never seen any of them offered again.
I believe the sticks are made out of some type of bone material ?? . They are about 4" long and very thin. They are very plyable but very strong. As you can see most of them have carved designs and some are decorated. The group at the bottom are just plain sticks with no design or colors.
I know that Indians played many games of chance using various objects - rocks, seeds, etc., but I have no idea what these sticks were used for.
Any help on these would be appreciated.
Take care,
Jerry
