Interesting to read of the values of U.S.star notes in recent posts..In Australia these notes are quite rare and reach a heck of a price at auction..recently a 1952 10 shilling star sold for $34,000 and a later.decimal $1 note went for $3,500 and a 1968 $20 reached $23,000....I am rather glad I stopped collecting Aussie banknotes about 20 years ago as I could'nt afford them now but think I should have kept a few,but who knows how the market is going to go,thought somebody might be interested...Bob
