I hate to see anyone loose their job, but when Hooters-Las Vegas closes their doors they will have no one to blame but themselves. They opened with machines that were way to tight, and table games with rules so bad nobody would win. They went into the collector chip business, then treated the dealers and collectors terrible. That being said I still had to have every Hooters chip(it was the girls) and I managed to get everything except the $500. Debi and I went out for the Aria opening and she snuck over to Hooters to get me the $500 for a Chistmas present. After she gave it to me this morning she told me the story about getting it. She went to the cage, was told rather rudely that they don't sell live chips at the cage. OK, stupid, but if that is their rule OK(if you get a supervisor they will tell you it's a gaming reg, total bull). Next she asked at a BJ table, no $500's(no one in their right mind would play at that level with Hooters rules). Next off to the crap table, where after some FBI type questioning they took her five $100 dollar bills for the 65 cent piece of clay. If I ever see a resume with a Hooters management history on it, it will go right in the can, total idiots! OK, I'm done venting, Merry Christmas to all. Jim
