Your chip would be described as "without serifs". To see what the serifs look like, go to this site and look at the various Harrah's brass cores. You'll see that some of 'em have little doo-dads at the tops of the H's&h's...those are serifs (hope I didn't confuse anyone with the technical term of "doo-dads", I guess I could've said lines
).
