I seriously hope you did not send this, and this is just some inside joke.
If you did, it puts chip collectors in a bad light everywhere.
Similar bad light to when someone demands and then becomes a nuisance for blank slot cards for themselves, is finally given some, then puts them on ebay.
Casino managers see their cards on ebay then refuse to give more to other collectors who request them. Other collectors that get refused later, get angry with the casino. But whose fault really is this.
I don't know what happened last year to you. I have been to the Town Tavern to photograph the place at least 5 times with myself or James Campiglia. The first time we went in about 6 years ago they sold us each one chip from each denomination and that was it. That’s their right. We both understood this. Over the years I have bought or been given free chips at some places and at other casinos been denied the purchase. Its their right.
I know Ill just pick up the chip I was denied at a show someday.
The chips belong to the casino to use for their own business needs not to collectors who demand them. The casino is a business like any other business and has the right to refuse service to anyone. Service includes maintaining items the casino needs to remain in business and not selling these items because someone demands them. If they sell you a chip or give you a card it is out of courtesy not because they feel you have a right to their property. Especially small places that don’t have thousands of chips or the time or interest to go through their stocks looking for chips in nice condition to make 40 cents profit for selling a $1 chip.
How would you feel if someone came into your house and demanded some of your property… or else…
