Back then it was such a burden the way it was set up to enter chips and link the scans. I can see why it took so long. That was before there was any reference chip database section either.
You have it on a laptop yet?? And forget about printing out in a book form...you can't afforf the paper let alone the printing! 30,000: WOW !
