But, Vegas will always become a destination for people all over the world while Indian casinos just fill a void in the local market. there are more Indian Casinos in San Diego county than in any other county of the United states and to be honest, I just don't like going there. They aren't close to one another so you're stuck in the one you chose to go to or face a drive to move. They are generally smaller, they have horrible ventilation systems so the smoke is out of control (although many have entire non smoking sections now which are 100% isolated from the smoking sections so that's a huge plus), and in my experience they generally don't have as many lower stakes options. Sure, they have penny slots but the max pull is 50 so that still adds up fast.
I don't know, I think the people that go to Indian casinos still go to Vegas. then again, living only a 4.5 hour drive away from Vegas makes my ability to go for even a weekend much easier than somebody living on the East coast so my views may be jaded.
