First off, let me say that I know this topic is very near and dear to your heart. I know you were one that was on the front lines of this fight, and I appreciate all of your efforts. I fully understand how passionate you are on this issue.
I understand what you are saying, but I think maybe a better way would be to not stick with the ways things have been done in the past. Why not look at it from a different angle.
Secondly, (before you even ask)I have absolutely no vested interest in this whole affair other then what I feel is the right thing to do, no matter who the listed parties are. I would not gain any benefit either way.
To address a few of your points; why would the request have to come from Mark? Couldn't those that put a person or company on the list also remove that person when they feel it the time? Shouldn't the matter be considered if anyone makes the request on that person or companies behalf? After all of this time, isn't it about time we look at everyone on the list and decide if it's right for them to remain on the list?
As for the rock throwing through the window, just because a police report wasn't filed, doesn't mean it didn't happen. So in my opinion, maybe it did happen, maybe it didn't. I really don't care, and I really don't think it should have any baring on the matter either way.
The only thing we should be considering is if a person or company is slabbing or not. If they are, they need to be on the list. If they are not, they should be removed. This should be the case for everyone on the list. The list is stating "These are people and companies that are participating in either slabbing or selling slabbed chips". If this statement no long applies to any or all of the list, then they should be removed. If we have successfully changed their slabbing ways, we shouldn't be vindictive. They should be removed.
Others have stated they would first want to see Mark Scott remove the ban list before considering him for removal. To me, that's obsurd. One has nothing to do with the other.
Again, I think we should only deal with the main topic at hand: are they slabbing or or they not. If they are not they should be removed from the list. Not just Mark Scott, but everyone on the list.
