In my opinion, the boycott was successful, so the boycott should end. As a signer of the pledge, I wanted to avoid purchasing from those who sold slabbed chips so they would stop. If they are no longer selling slabbed chips, then I cannot support continuing a boycott in the name of slabbing. Now, if someone wants to start a boycott against these individuals/companies/businesses for reasons other than slabbing chips, then they can do so. I can then consider why the boycott is called for and make my decision. I do not want to boycott them in the name of something that is no longer applicable. Although I do not want to see slabbing started up, and I think the pledge list serves as a deterent to some extent, I do not believe that slabbing deserves a punishment that continues indefinitely even though the offending behavior has long ceased.
