In the mean time you lose out on buying chips from him or others that are not "slabbed free" approved. No one 'loses out' it is a personal choice. Simply remove your name and buy from who ever/ what ever you wish. Who are you really punishing? No one. SlabFree was not mean to 'punish' anyone. Don’t you think you are cutting off your nose to spite your face? Again it is a personal choice and each person is free to do as they wish- and that includes getting off the list too if they so choose.
Who really cares what someone does with their chips? Many people who love the hobby care if it affects the hobby- Rember BORLAND? People cared about what he did with his chips. You don't have to buy them. You don't have to look at them. In fact, if you look at the other hobbies that have items "slabbed", coins, baseball cards, etc., it gives the collector who is in it solely for the enjoyment of collecting, an opportunity to buy the unslabbed items at a price that is less than it would command if slabbing did not exist. But no one understands or sees that side. I understands it inflates the 'percieved value' of the slabbed items to the benefit of the slabber and deflates the 'percieved value' of the unslabbed items.

You people complain about our President, the Speaker of the House and the other fools trying to cram Health Care down the throats of ALL citizens as well as their own personal agenda's. It will not be a 'Choice' and it will affect me against my will. Yet, you do and act in the same manner when it comes to "slabbing". You clearly attempt to cram down your dislike for the product in the same way with worthless pledges, boycott's and whatever. Agin, for the 3rd time, it is a choice each person is free to make and even revoke latter if they wish.

You ALL spend too much time worrying about one, two, or a few individuals rather than looking at the BIG PICTURE which is gathering new collectors and new members. How does a group being formed that is opposed to slabbing thart a person's interest in collecting chips or joining others who collect chips? Remember NOT ALL chip collecters are ON the list.

We live in this country because it offers us a choice. What country did you LEAVE to come here and enjoy our choices? Does it really matter if a chip is slabbed or not? Yes. Will it really put an end to collecting? No. Will it really mean every chip will be slabbed? No. Will it really mean the hobby is over? No, but it will be hurt and will not benefit the hobby.

I know I’m talking into the Abyss, but so be it. Sheep…..stay in a single file line. And pray for a sharp knife.
