I have never seen a chip offered for sale that was graded and slabbed. I do have the souvenir slab that was handed out at the convention. I believe the whole ideal of boycotting dealers who sell slabbed chips is a dead issue as no dealers sell slabbed chips, or ever have. The grading company may have been discouraged from continuing their business plan by the reaction of our Club.
Most coin dealers, including Sahara Coin, sell most of their valuable collector coins graded and encapsulated. Should that discourage chip collectors from buying a chip from a coin dealer at all?
