The pledge can mean different things to many of the signees.
The pledge was signed by us in a time of a very large threat to our hobby.
Slabfree members worked hard to raise money and drive the Slabbers from the hobby.
We did it and I for one am proud of what we did. On top of that it was big FUN!! 
The Slab Wars was all but over when one of the "Big Slabbing" companies that had setup at the convention packed up and left on the 2nd day. Not sure how Slabfree got a table right across the aisle from them.
