I talked to my son yesterday and he just began reading Sully’s book (pilot who landed in the Hudson). He said Sully’s learned to fly in Dallas (my son learned there too). When Sully began to fly it cost $9 per hour w/instructor in 1960! My neighbor learned to fly in early 60’s it was up to $12, when I learned in 1978 it was $28. My son paid $90 per hour! His jet school was $600 per hour!
