Thanks for the link. He is prety mellow. Yes, I even took him out and held him a bit. Although I must admit the reptile store itself creeped me out a bit, this guy is ok. It took me a while before I broke down and picked it up though. The crickets on the other hand, give me the creeps. My labs were very curious about him and came right over to him but only smelled him a bit and then watched him in amazement. They are scared of hamster toys that aren't even real so I dont think they'll bother this guy but he is where they cant get him. My daughter will be coming home from college this weekend and will find him in her room until Christmas.
