.25 cent Craps a Pain-No way
Try dealing .10 cent Craps with real dimes!!!! I broke in as a Crap Dealer 1972 at the Nevada Club in Reno. We had no Boxperson but we had 5 tubes of dimes attached to the table that each held $50 in dimes and would squirt out 5 dimes a pull on the lever. .10 cents to $500 with double odds. Try dealing with 4 different pieces of Silver instead of chips-yes .10-.25-.50-1.00 Ikes and even a few $1.00 Silver old ones. .60 cent place bets on 6&8. We would have 10 arguments per roll when we would go to inside stick. We were in heaven when they went to .25 cent in mid 1973 but still with silver. Funny thing our tokes were better when we had .10 craps as dealers were up each and every roll. Finally went to the big time [or so I thought] in Atlantic City in 1980.
