Seems to me that it was less than that...maybe $1,500 to $2,000? I believe that there was over 140 entrants last year & it takes forever to finish, so doubtful on the deep stack thing. As I recall, last year during the convention, The Venetian was holding their Deep Stack tourneys...so you could always check into that. The South Point ran a couple of smaller daily tourneys also where you would usually find some chippers playing.
