We, as a whole, should try to be sensitive to what offends others. Therefore, although we should have an open forum, we should try to avoid being too in your face and insulting with topics that can offend others. What topics could these be? To start, how about religion, race, sexual preference (personally, I'm all for sex, but that's just me), and of course politics. Is it any worse to be Democrat bashing over gay bashing? In my opinion, no. Bashing of any sort is wrong. Being Americans gives us freedom of speech. But should it be at the expense of others?

These topics, as with all, can often times come off in ways other then intended. Reading can not easily pick up the intended nuances and inflections, and certainly can not always pick up on tongue in cheek.

I agree 100 percent with Gene, that this chip and casino related message board should not be kept strictly to only those subjects. But I also feel that people that state their opinions should go about it without trashing others for paradoxical beliefs.

That all said.....I think we just need to go easy, and go forth in moderation.
