Technically You are correct. I believe that "any one who has Landed an Airplane on an Aircraft Carrier" Is a member of the "TAILHOOK ASSOC."
Unfortunatly "TAILHOOK" has taken on a drerogitory connotation resulting from a gathering in Las Vegas a few Years Back.
Implying that G.H.W. Bush is in any way connected to the going's on in Las Vegas at the "Tailhook Convention" and it's Underlying Se Xu al coonotations is something I have to say that "To the Best of My Knowledge The published personality of G.H.W. Bush Decorated WWII Fighter Pilot" would not Participate in such Going's on.
