We apparently don't have a Tivoli matchbook either...so I don't know why the name is familiar, but I've seen something from there. Eric, did you show a Tivoli cover before? or maybe Bill did? or maybe I'm hallucinating?
Anyway...
Eric's cover mentions Bill Goodwin.
The 1939 phone book lists W.S. Goodwin at 306 N. 1st...phone 483 ("W" could be William=Bill?)
The 1944 phone book has the same listing, as does 1950.
Bill's matchbook cover mentions O.C."Al" Rose.
The 1939 phone book lists M Rose and Rose's Family Liquor Store.
The 1944 phone book lists A.A. Rose, Lt Eugene Rose, Jack Rose and Raymond Rose.
The 1950 phone book lists A.A. Rose, A.M. Rose, Gordon Rose, Henry Rose, Lyle Rose, Pearl & Steve Rose, Raymond Rose.
No "O" Rose anywhere...? Could have been pre-1939?
