Steve, I assure you absolutely no offense was taken. My statement was incorrect & your reply was civil - capitalism is not to blame. Capitalism is its truest form is offering the best product for the best price + a fair day's wage for a fair day's work. Everyone is happy & the free market works. Greed & politics are very powerful forces in the US and our system of checks/balances is often abused. There's plenty of blame to go around.

We are imperfect country and despite our problems I wouldn't want to live anywhere else.
