Also, a huge scam was created with wage/price freezes from decades ago. Sellers who were stuck with the inability to raise prices protected themselves from future dilemmas by raising prices well beyond what they actually intended to sell an item for then "REBATED" the extra money back to you and it seemed like a BONUS to the buyer. The reality is that it is your own money you are getting back and if a price freeze were to be implemented again the price would stay the same but the rebates could be reduced - in effect raising the price- .
And as posted before- Low or No interest Credit has just had the interest built into the price at the beginning. So if you pay off early you have not actually avoided the interest fees.
There are so many games to dupe the consumer it is ridicules!
