I always thought it would have been a good idea here in the USA; at least to help those with poor sight.... At least our large-numeral $5 and $10 bills help, but the $100 is still poorly designed with te numeral denomination being dark ink on a dark background and the same on the reverse; green on green.

Went to an antique show last week where there was a group of Europeans who were buying up a storm using $500 bills. We no longer have them in circulation.
