He made note of a demand in front of the entire office that she agree that in case he should win, that she would have no claim of any portion since she was the one who actually purchased the ticket... even though it was with his $1. She agreed and even offered to sign an agreement in adding a little humor to the mix.

After she returned from lunch, she gave him his lotto ticket and also gave one each to the other girls in the office... all having his same six numbers... with an added note of such in front of the entire office saying "Gook luck to us!"
