Anything backed by AARP and/or the AMA is suspect. AARP generally a rip-off organization, an insurance company that represents NO one but their own interests.
The AMA represents well less than 30% of doctors. Again they line up with their own self interests, not necessary that of the public.
Any position taken by either should be taken lightly or discarded as driven by special interests.
