Sometimes Archie, the first batch I had, about 150 young, were eaten after about 6 days after becoming free swimming. Normally Cichlid parents are very good about keeping other fish away from their fry. Got lucky with this batch, although before long Ill need another tank... Ha. Another pair are digging a "nest" for past couple of days so there may be more coming. Professional breeders cant take the chance of losing them and remove the young as soon as they become free swimming to their own tank. Thanks for the inquiry.
