Use a sprayer of some type to lightly spray your clear coat on. Taking a brush, the one from the nail bottle is a little stiff, but the liquide will desolve the print and/or the dots/rings and they will streak. This is why I would stay away from brushes...spray. I and Jeff the diceman, who has departed us, discussed and experimented and agreed, stay away from brushes. I hope this helps.
