True ... since the back up chips were never in play on the Playboy tables, their is no outstanding debt owed on them and the State will not redeem them.

Not True ... there were many regular high denomination table chips found at "the dig". In fact, after I redeemed mine in at the State Offices in Trenton for full face value, plus interest, I was able to re-purchase them at a fraction of their face value from sellers of "dig" chips. They can still be purchased at heavily discounted prices off face value from chip dealers in today's still depressed market.
