Some of the newer Forums, such as PhpBb, would be a big improvement compared to this older Forum format that The Chipboard and CC>CC Forums use.

Some advantages of a new Forum:

1. The blockers eliminate most/all of the Spam.
2. Separate Forums for Chip Related and Non-Chip Related topics.
3. A modern format that would, in my opinion, bring new people into the hobby.
4. Posts wouldn't suddenly disappear.
5. Lots of cool tools for the mods to use.

I have no idea what the cost would be, and I know some people are hesitant to try new things when it comes to computers, but this format here is really obsolete.

Might be something for the CC>CC Board of Directors to look into. Might be the best money they ever spend as far as advertising and bringing in new collectors to the hobby. Maybe even call the new Forum "The Greg Susong Memorial Forum" in honour of all he has done?

Again, these are just some suggestions. I am grateful for this Board to share the hobby with other people. Nice to see it so active, as well.
