I have to assume the Government providing those on welfare programs free cell phones comes under the “Free Speech” amendment?

I must admit I can sleep better at night knowing that the unwed Welfare mother of 6 who is standing in front of me at the Grocery store waiting to use her food stamps can now take booty calls on her cell phone directly from the store without having to be home in her government assisted housing.

It’s a real shame that my parents have never owned a cell phone (Or cable TV for that matter) as they choose to use what little money they have for wild and crazy things like paying for RENT or HEALTHCARE. Obviously 2 things those on Government programs don’t have to worry about.

What is next, a new program to provide welfare recipients with Nintendo and Wii ? After all we don’t want to deprive those people of enjoying life like the rest of us, even if they don’t have a job or an education (or in many cases a desire to get one).
