The government can charge whatever it wants for health care.....even substantially less than private companies....because
it doesn't have to make a profit or even breakeven.....all it has to do is pay the difference in losses by raising taxes....in
other words the government can do a lousy job at health care....undercut all private companies by half.....pay the difference
by raising taxes....then when the private companies are gone.....raise prices of coverage above what the private companies
would have charged and continue to do a lousy job.......ie post office, medicare, medicaid, amtrak, social security.....hope
