Hiya Dennis, yep the Double Down Saloon was a real place. It is now Chip's casino in the Washinton village of La Center. Thanks to TGT for pointing out the Chips name be fore I went loony trying to remember how it all worked out. I like to play balckjack in La Center. I can't find the file on hese dirty fellows so I dont remember what i paid on eBay for them. Got thehalf an the five off the table during play. Steve goodrich has them valued aat close to face but that seems pretty generous for hegreen and black bu they aren't availale everywhere either. Always thought the yellow half was the prettiest hotstamp ever with the intricate pistols. The inlays were petty spooky in a "twin Peaks" sort of way. If you rmember "twin peaks" you may know it was filmed in Washinton. NOt really a fantasy to my Oegon mind but more of a documentary on the state. in a backwards talking dwarf and damn fine piece of pie way.

The double ddown was a praetty cozy place and a nice cardroom.
