Hey Andy, Butch, Michael, Marc, Jay, Steve, et all

There's not much to say about that game. My initial attempts involved derivatives of these terms:
Terrible
Horrific
Aghast
Devastating
Crushing
Calamitous
Unfortunate
Debaclous
Discouraging
Mortifying
Despondent
Disappointing
Frustrating
Crestfallen

Overall, I am still quite literally nauseated when discussing this game. Nobody is to blame, it was just an example of some very good baseball resulting in a Dodger loss. Torre played his cards properly, Wolf was Glavine (get to him early, then don't touch him again), Dodgers offense came through, Broxton clutched up early. . .and then we had the Matt Stairs hiccups and subsequent breakdown. Can't point fingers at Cannibal Broxton, though - Dodgers wouldn't be in the NLCS without him.

The key here will be rebounding from this loss. Fortunately for the Dodgers there IS an off-day between games four & five, perhaps the 24 hour lapse allowing the shattering despair of that Game Four loss to somehow transition into positive energy. The Pirates came back from 3 games to 1 in 1979 and of course the Red Sox came back from 3-0 in 2004, so it IS possible. . .but as much as I like Vicente Padilla, is he really the guy? If so, then who's next? And who's after that? We will find out, Dodger fans. Spend today picking your heart up off the floor, cleaning up that vomit and drying your eyes. Tomorrow is truly a new day
