At one time Covington and Newport was the biggest gambling mecca outside of Las Vegas. It all ended around the early 1960's. Trimble can give you the whole history on the place. Some of the casinos were the 633 Club (Flamingo), Stardust, The Alibi Club, The Sandwich Shoppe, Glenn Schmidt's, Beverly Hills Supper Club, Kentucky Club and many more.
