It's not a unique chip but it is however, a variation. Just as we consider smooth coin vs concentric circles as a variation. If chips are different they are considered a variation. Most situations like this in the past were given a seperate TCR number. The new system for TCR now gives a modifier rather then a new number, as is also the case with canceled chips.
