At first, it looks like your classic Cuban chip from the 40's, but after purchasing the chip to better see it and going through every chip I know from Cuba, I clearly support Charles conclusion, the font has not been used in Cuba.
This is not a Cuban chip. Just that the CM letters do look like the Circulo Militar chip letters, but, there ends the similarities.
