By now we all should know that Greg owned a Sonic Burger Drive-In there in Wellington, KS. It would be at this time of the year he would be busy preparing a special, Halloween event at the Sonic. His workplace was very important to him, sometimes to the exclussion of chipping. Just a couple of weeks ago I was talking to him about the possibility of a casino being built within a few miles of Wellington and his response was, "Oh, I hope NOT!" I said, "Greg, you're joking, right?" "No" he said. "It would be horrible! I would be competing for workers!"
Anyway, about the Sonic coupons...
Greg knew that I liked the Sonic Burger chain and much to my surprise (a couple of years ago) I received an envelope from Greg that was filled with about 30 of these...
He attached a note that said, "Jim, enjoy. Just don't use these in Wellington!" 
A year later I received yet another mailing from Greg and it was filled with about 30 of these coupons...
Again, it contained a note admonishing me to NOT use them in Wellington!
Earlier this year, while negotiating one of the Sonic Burger coupons at a Sonic Drive-In in Las Vegas, the store manager commented about the coupon, indicating the he could do it one better! He then handed over one of these...
I mentioned this coupon to Greg and asked him why he was holding out on me? He claimed to not be familiar with that coupon, but admonished me to NOT try and use it in Wellington, KS! 
In one of my last mailings from Greg (July of this year), he sent me yet another envelope with about 20 of these...
And again, I was prohibited from using them in Wellington!
Well, these most recent coupons have now taken on a different meaning to me and I'll not be negotiating them and will have a set of the three different ones set aside. Thanks Greg!

Just keep in mind that you can't use it in Wellington, KS!
