.... the dime has been gold-plated on one side. Not a difficult task. One of our Ocean County (NJ) Coin Club members used to gold plate clad JFK half dollars and Ike dollars for jewelry purposes and sell them for a few bucks above face value. Pictured is a Four Queens .999 fine $200 silver strike that has had selected areas gold plated.
