... they all (FOX, NBC, CBS and whomever) gather around the table voicing their opinions about something other than why the prize was presented.
They know what the facts are. Do you really expect a one of them to say exctly what went down and why the award was presented w/o putting on a show so viewers will stay glued to the TV..? I'm sure ("I hope" ) you know better.
My point is to fully understand the reasoning why it was President Obama who won the prize and pay less attention to the whole lot... and the only way you can better understand is to read exactly what the presentation was all about by those who presented the award... Gee, Archie; they could not have made it any more clear than they did.
The man is a World leader. Those in the free world listen to him more than any other president in our time... and this is not an opinion; it's pure fact. What better person to accept the award who will accept this challenge that is before the world. There's no specific achievment or accomplishment being measured with this award... even though it is quite obvius regarding elements of the award.
Cal could not have been any more correct in callng you down on being so very, very wrong, Archie... but the problem is that you do not want to face the facts... and you certainly have no idea as to what the majority of viewers on this BBS think about the award... nor do you have any idea that the majority of viewers may support President Obama and voted for him. So, be wise, Archie... and face the facts as they were presented this morning... and learn how our fine president accepted the challenge... Learn how the Nobel Peace Prize is totally different than the other Nobel Prizes...
