Thanks for the TR Doug! I was in the New Pheonix/ Last Frontier Friday, left about $100 behind. You wrote the four LA Center chips. They are a table game only town ("21",poker & circus games) with minimum gambling age of 18. Not sure how they managed to get that zoning designation. Sure is a large fight to stop a new Indian Casino from being built across the highway. That's the cardroom situation in WA. no slots, craps or roulette. Also no firearms, you left that out! As for the Indian casino, an ongoing saga, as you noticed La Center is just a village and an idian casino would be be a big fat deal there. Seems as if the tribe was kind of shopping around for tribal land and the actual anthropological data may not point to La Center as the tibal hunting grounds. Also keepin mind that the great red state mob rule is in effect in the PNW and noathing makes libs and dems feel better than to save people from them selves. Lots of Great White Father posturing and even though the pols are addicted to the sugar teat of casino taxes, they consider casino revenue a stupidity tax.
