I would venture to guess...
that it was or is the ALMOND color.
Different batches of the clay sometimes end up with slightly different shades of the same color.
The amount of the "metal flake" in the chip might have something to do with the overall color as well.
This is especially prevalent in the sets of chips made for home use by ASM and BCC.
LOVE those Paulson color samples on the plain mold to !!!
