Sierra Leone charity auction #1

ccgtcc member David Spragg's (LM 6160-166) wife works full time for charity to increase literacy in Sierra Leone, as well as delivering medical supplies to the region.

For those not familiar with Sierra Leone (myself included), "Sierra Leone, on the Atlantic Ocean in West Africa, is half the size of Illinois. Guinea, in the north and east, and Liberia, in the south, are its neighbors. Mangrove swamps lie along the coast, with wooded hills and a plateau in the interior. The eastern region is mountainous. Constitutional democracy."

I support what Ms. Spragg is doing. Once life's basics have been established (food, shelter and human rights), I think one of the next best things that can be provided is the chance to learn.

That being said, I would like to send Ms. Spragg off with an additional $200 on her next visit in November. I am going to put up several auctions until I hit my goal. These will be a different type of auction. I will post an item, and if I like the bid, it will be SOLD. If I consider the bid a little short, I will say "Please try again". Make me an offer - you may be surprised.

Auction #1:

Prop set from the movie "Ocean's Eleven". Five chips, two tokens (both sides shown) and a postcard (appears to be from Germany). Would look nice framed.

Chips come with a copy of the LOA that will explain their journey from the movie set to my hands. The chips have the "BELLAGIO" sticker on one side only. These are chips from the vault scene (DVD Chapter 14 - "Tess"). Because the chips were only shown in racks, the chips only needed the denomination on one side only. They are made of plastic, and the inlay is a sticker. "Dragon" mold.
