then they tell me there gonna start an IV, and I'm like...whoa, wait a minute, I have to drive my truck I cant afford impoundment fees, etc....I'm ok, I dont need to go to the hospital....and they imform me about how nevada law states that if a vehicle gets overturned in an accident...the driver has to go to the hospital..period. case closed.
about that time a police officer sticks his head in the truck and asks for my license and I'm trying to tell him, hey I just moved, I still have a bunch of stuff in my SUV, and my phone and glasses have to be in there too. he says no one is even getting close to your truck until the fire dept arrives and cleans up he gas, etc.
AT UMC they tell me I have 6 fractured ribs and a pneumothorax, which can cause my lung to collapse amd/or lead to pneumonia...oh, and a hole in my ear, that they'll glue back together....great...and that I'll be there for at least 48 hours....later the DR would tell me I was lucky not to have a lacerated Aorta.....the PO shows up at the hospital and tells me he issued the other driver a ticket and tells me how he should give me a ticket for not wearing a seat belt but wont....that no one else was hurt and that while my SUV was flipping over, I clipped another car...how the ticketed drivers car had to be towed along with mine......oh, and here was my phone, the only thing he found.
My niece took me to the tow yard yeaterday...no sight of my camera bag that had a couple T-90s with 2 L lenses....and other items not found.....my 1990 Tropper is totaled....which I bought about a year and half ago and paid a preimum price because it had new engine, new clutch, etc and had been serviced by my mechanic friend since brand new...sucks.....
