I have a boxed set of 500+ total chips with this crescent moon w/small full moon design. It is very old, probably circa 1940's, leather case w/removable wood trays and storage area underneath for cards. Chips seem to be a clay composite type. Curious as to what the symbol represents? Also the edge of each chip has a square within a circle design all the way around the edge of the face..I bought this set at an estate sale almost 20 years ago and really would like some info. on it if you can help?
