... and that's only because I know of a similar rim design on surface painted plastic jetons with dots in circles, but it that case the dots are twice as many as your 30-dots example. The jetons I refer to are also CV monogrammed, but not exactly like your CV example... and with a greater number of smaller dots within two circles... which series are a few denominations.
