ND is a very good passing team. The star runner Allen was out with twisted ankle, they had 6 defense lineline in the box expecting a run. We had a one one sitution, an easy pass completion for a first down and lock up the victory. Our star wide receiver was out w/ 15 stiches in his knee, the back up ran a lazy pattern and we missed by 6 inches. Lets wait till the end of the season before hanging the coach on 1 or 2 plays. That is just not good judgement, and it won't happen, or at least if we don't go at least 9-3 and a bowl win. What did you think about of the other 45 calls CW made. I saw they were great, mixing up and making most 3rd down converisons. The defense is the weak link, and needs improvement. Like I said I watched the game 3- times, I played footbal from 8yrs-21 yrs. old. I have watched every game possible college & pro, for 50 yrs. I eat sleep and drink football, very little sleep Fri. & Sat nights. These thoughts from a football nut. I won't even let anyone talk to me during a game, can't be distracted. Call me crazy, but I'll stick by my take on this subject.
