Answer: Sure, PayPal and credit cards are wonderful for buyers in many case, particularly when dealing with strangers. But if you know the seller and/or he has a good reputation and a return policy, then cash payment (including QuickPay) is fine and no fee. Also bear in mind that the fees that the seller pays has to be made up someplace, like in a higher price for the goods.
