Clinton always made it a point to shake the hand of every PBSO Deputy no matter where they were positioned at the airport (or wherever they crossed paths). He would make it a point to walk clear over to the other side of the airport to do so.

When George H.W. would visit his mother on Hobe Sound, all drawbridges would be raised as soon as his motorcade passed over. He also made it a point to take pictures with cops... even if it meant stopping and getting out to do so. It's a wonderful feeling seeing something like that.

Motorcade and procession/parade display of colors are not always the same/accurate... but, aside from the flag on his unit; I ask where are all the millions of flags on John Q Public's bumper that were displayed post Sept. 11th, 2001... or do we just forget...?
