About a year ago I posted this 2 1/2 pesos chip from the Casino De Bavaro, Dominican Republic, thinking it really was a 2 1/2 pesos chip and that the red hot stamp of the word "pesos" was just a poor job. However, I have now been told that the chip is in fact a $2.50 USD and that the casino had attempted to remove the word "pesos" with the red, hot-stamp as an over-stamp!!

These chips are used as snappers on a $5 blackjack payout!

While this may have been known by others, it is news to me!
