Buy one chip at $7 and pay $1.75 shipping : total cost is $8.75 per chip
buy 2nd chip at $7 and pay 0 shipping : total cost is $15.75 or $7.875 per chip

Seems like a savings to me, but then again, I do have a degree in marketing, not math
